Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
• Individualized Instruction: Develop and implement personalized educational programs (IEPs) designed to meet the unique needs of each student.
• IEP Coordination: Lead and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with parents, therapists, and other educators to set and evaluate educational goals.
• Progress Monitoring: Utilize digital tools to assess student progress, adapt teaching strategies as necessary, and maintain comprehensive records.
• Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and therapists to provide a holistic and supportive educational experience for all students.
• Parental Communication: Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and offering strategies to support learning at home.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Certification: Valid Wisconsin teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in a special education setting, with a strong background in remote or virtual teaching preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in using educational technology, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a deep understanding of special education practices.
