Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver tailored educational experiences that meet the unique needs of each student
• Construct comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials that are engaging in a virtual environment
• Monitor student progress through regular evaluations and assessments, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Collaborate with students’ families, special education coordinators, and other professionals to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide emotional and academic support to students, fostering a positive online learning environment
• Make use of various digital tools and platforms to enhance instruction, facilitate communication, and track student progress
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid SC license or certification in Special Education
• Two years of previous experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a remote setting
• Proficiency with online teaching platforms and educational technology
