In depth knowledge of Indiana Academic Standards
Must maintain a growth mindset
Serves as a positive role model, holding themselves accountable for learner outcomes and advocates for their students
Must facilitate differentiated learning to reach their students at their individual levels.
Must complete and clear drug screen and expanded criminal history background check as required by Indiana state law for school personnel
Job Qualifications:
BA or MS in elementary education, holds a current Indiana teaching license or has applied for one
Able to fulfill all Logansport Community School Corporation employment requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of current instructional strategies appropriate for students in second grade
Must be knowledgeable in the Science of Reading, Orton Gillingham trained, and familiar with mClass testing and reports
