**Overview:** We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach online English Composition credit courses for MDC Online. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating student learning, managing online courses, and interacting with students through various digital platforms. **Responsibilities:**
• Facilitate student learning in online courses
• Manage online… courses through the Learning Management System (LMS) and its tools
• Interact with students online via discussion, chat, and emails at least three times a week
• Evaluate and advise students
• Provide feedback on the course to course developers
• Participate in departmental and College affairs
• Perform other duties as assigned
• *Qualifications:**
• Master’s degree in English or Linguistics; or Master’s in Fine Arts in Creative Writing; or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in English/Creative Writing or a concentration of writing-related courses from the above disciplines. In addition, for ENC2300 and LIT2480, six graduate hours in Oral Communications required. * Basic computer software and Internet skills
• Florida residency
• Must obtain MDC Online Certification by successfully completing specific online training provided by the College upon hiring
• Previous online teaching experience preferred
