**Overview:**
The College of the Florida Keys is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Business of Diving, a three-credit course at the Key West Campus, Upper Keys Center, or virtual campus. This is a part-time teaching assignment, and adjunct instructors earn $543 – $727 per credit hour, based on degree level. **Responsibilities:**
• Prepares, instructs, and grades all coursework and ensures… the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures. * Effectively uses oral and written communication skills. * Maintains regularly scheduled hours to provide instruction for assigned class meeting times, dates, and locations. * Maintain records of student attendance. * Maintains timely compliance with clerical and administrative responsibilities. * Keeps current in the programs being taught. * Assist in College recruitment and retention efforts, as appropriate. * Other related duties as assigned. **Qualifications:**
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the following qualifying fields: Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Law, Management, Marketing. * Three (3) years’ teaching experience at the community college level or higher is preferred. * Experience using Canvas preferred. * Two or more years working in a retail dive shop or dive charter business preferred. * Comparable amount of training, education, or experience may be substituted for the above minimum qualifications. **Benefits:**
