Adjunct of Psychology, School of Health Science and Wellness

PRIMARY DUTY: The Division of Behavioral Sciences at Northwest Missouri State University is seeking candidates to serve as Adjunct Faculty for online courses in Psychology. The successful candidate will facilitate the class in the Canvas LMS using an established course site. Courses take place in fall, spring, and/or summer terms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS…
• Interact with students to support learning and student success
• Update and maintain the course site as needed (i.e. revising dates and correcting broken links)
• Provide substantive feedback on assignments in a timely fashion
• Respond to email messages from students in a timely fashion
• Meet virtually with other faculty members in the program if necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Masters’ degree in Psychology
Experience: Prior experience as the instructor of record for an undergraduate Psychology course
Other: Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will be completely online and involve interactions with students and other faculty members

EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS USED: Laptops and other technology necessary to provide outstanding online instruction

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to complete online instruction
