Job Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging and integrated learning experiences in Photography aligned with college pathways and career goals.
Develop authentic assessments to measure students’ knowledge and skills.
Utilize diverse teaching strategies to support all aspects of learning.
Provide support to students both in and outside the classroom, including directing them to campus resources.
Be available to teach classes at various times.
Course Details
Course Description: Beginning and Intermediate Digital Photography
Course Schedule: One course per quarter, available in the afternoon or evening
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Fine Arts with a focus on 2D art.
Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).
Evidence of teaching experience or potential.
Commitment to working effectively with a diverse student body.
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, manual DSLR operation, and Epson Printers.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of college-level teaching experience.
Portfolio of ten samples of personal or professional artwork and ten samples of student work.
