Art Instructor – Remote | WFH

Role Responsibilities

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to create and facilitate engaging learning experiences in Photography.

Develop and implement authentic assessments that measure students’ skills and knowledge.

Use diverse teaching strategies to support various learning styles.

Provide support to students both in and out of the classroom, including directing them to campus resources.

Be available to teach classes on different days and times.

Course Description: Beginning and Intermediate Digital Photography

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s in Fine Arts with a 2D emphasis.

Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).

Teaching experience or demonstrated potential.

Commitment to working with diverse populations.

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, DSLR operation, and Epson printers.

Preferred Qualifications

Two years of college-level teaching experience.

Portfolio with ten samples of personal or professional artwork.

Portfolio with ten samples of student work.
