Art Teacher/Assistant Director of Education – Remote | WFH

Position Highlights

Teach weekly classes in digital art, drawing, painting, and mixed media for adults, kids, and teens.

Track and document student progress, showcasing their success and artwork.

Implement art studio management systems to ensure classes run smoothly and efficiently.

Manage art supply orders, organization, and inventory to ensure each class is well-equipped and within budget.

Maintain the digital lab, ensuring it is stocked with the latest software, hardware, and educational tools.

Track and report expenses related to wages and art supplies.

Share key metrics on student retention, attendance, makeup classes, and student satisfaction.

Meet with and enroll new student prospects, ensuring satisfaction for both students and parents.

Develop strategies to increase student retention and satisfaction.

Build strong, individual relationships with students and their families.

Assist in creating and executing local marketing strategies, including events, school partnerships, and community outreach.

Identify opportunities to showcase student artwork within the local community and promote our program.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience teaching art classes to kids, teens, or adults.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, with a major in Fine Art or Art Education.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to network, collaborate, and build relationships with students, parents, staff, and community partners.

A passion for contemporary art and a commitment to our educational philosophy.
