**Overview:**
Thomas University, an independent, not-for-profit institution of higher education, invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor in the Social Work Program. The Assistant Professor will teach in the Bachelor of Social Work program, which offers on-campus and online courses. **Responsibilities:**
• Teach in the Bachelor of Social Work program, including both on-campus… and online courses
• Serve on department and university committees
• Participate in community partnerships and collaborate on research and grant opportunities
• Participate in professional organizations and conferences
• Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in social work education
• *Qualifications:**
• Master’s in Social Work
• A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in college/university settings
• Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker or equivalent
• Excellent instructional technology skills, preferably in Canvas
• Ability to learn new software and stay ahead of software updates and upgrades
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Doctorate in Social Work
• Five (5) years of related experience
• Ability to teach on the Thomas University Campus in Thomasville, GA
