Associate Faculty – Remote | WFH

In this role, you’ll provide exceptional, personalized learning experiences and coaching to help students achieve their career goals. As an Associate Faculty member, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting students and… contributing to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with Students: Deliver engaging and effective classroom instruction, aligning with our faculty expectations. Your expertise will cover areas such as data mining, data management, business performance management, dashboards, business intelligence tools, decision support, and intelligent systems.

Support Student Learning: Maintain a high standard of student relations and evaluations. Your role includes adhering to best practices and protocols to ensure a quality learning experience.

Classroom Management: Follow all guidelines related to course conduct and academic expectations. Collaborate closely with program chairs and student advisors to address any concerns.

Evaluate Performance: Administer evaluations based on course deliverables and rubrics. Post interim grades on the Blackboard Grade Center and final grades in the university’s system.

Adhere to Guidelines: Participate in discussion boards, class discussions, and chat sessions as required. Engage fully with students to maintain a high-touch learning environment.

Timely Feedback: Submit grades for assignments, discussions, and exams in accordance with established requirements.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications: A terminal degree in a directly related field is required.

Experience: A minimum of two years of college teaching experience is preferred, with experience in online teaching using platforms like Blackboard.

Skills and Competencies: Strong relationship-building skills, integrity, a commitment to the mission of higher education, and proficiency in computer systems and tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, R, and Power BI. The ability to adapt to a dynamic environment is also essential.

Additional Information

All candidates must have official college transcripts on file and complete a training session before their first teaching assignment.
