Qualifications:
Experience with students with special needs, including those with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, and intellectual disabilities
Bachelors/Master s Degree in Special Education
California State Special Education Teaching Certification endorsement
Caseload:
Elementary School Setting
Students in the moderate to severe program with some behaviors
Approximately 9 students
Creating and maintaining a productive environment conducive to learning
Assess the accomplishments of students consistently and provide progress reports when needed.
Diagnoses the learning disabilities of students on a regular basis, seeking the assistance of district specialists as required.
Takes all necessary precautions to protect self, students, equipment, materials, facilities, and other faculty.
