Our virtual school is looking for a skilled Special Education Teacher to provide remote instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Core Duties…
• Design and deliver individualized online lessons
• Implement IEPs and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists
• Conduct virtual assessments and data collection
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Adapt curriculum and create digital resources for special needs students
• Participate in professional development and team meetings
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Special Education preferred
• Valid teaching credential with special education endorsement
• 3+ years of experience in special education
• Knowledge of various disabilities and evidence-based interventions
• Proficiency in using technology for online instruction
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to build rapport with students in a virtual environment
