J6 tutors seeks certified teachers with Science of Reading training to tutor students underperforming in literacy as a part of the Louisiana Department of Education’s Steve Carter Tutoring Initiative.

Work Hours & Benefits] This is an independent contractor assignment. Tutors have the option to tutor students remotely and/or in person.
Tutor Qualifications/Skills:
• Certified teacher by the state of Louisiana required
• Science of Reading Training in accordance to Act 108 required
• Previous experience tutoring preferred
• Tech needed to perform virtual tutoring sessions required
• Reliable transportation for in person tutoring session required.
• Teachers not currently teaching in the state of Louisiana will require a background check.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
