Full-Time Remote Speech-Language Pathologist – (Teletherapy)

Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Remote – Georgia School District

Start Date: January 6th 2025

End Date: End of School Year (2025)

Platform: Vocovision Teletherapy

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an Georgia school district through Vocovision Teletherapy. This is a full-time, remote position, where you will be providing teletherapy services to students in need of speech and language support. The position will begin on January 6th, 2025, and continue through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students via the Vocovision Teletherapy platform.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and other school staff.
• Provide therapy interventions for students with a variety of communication disorders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress and concerns.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings as needed.
• Follow all state and federal regulations regarding teletherapy services and student confidentiality.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Georgia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
• Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, interventions, and IEP processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms (preferably Vocovision) is a plus.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, private space to conduct virtual therapy sessions.
