Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced TDHH to join our team on a contract basis. This 1099 position is ideal for a dedicated professional committed to providing high-quality services to students in a virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver virtual instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, using appropriate communication methods, including American Sign Language (ASL) and/or oral communication.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs in a virtual environment.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school administrators to support students’ academic and social-emotional development.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Certification: Valid California teaching certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a TDHH. Virtual experience is a plus.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills. Ability to work independently and manage a virtual classroom effectively.
