Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified High School Biology Teacher to join our team remotely in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology education and experience working with high school students in a virtual setting.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging online lessons that adhere to state curriculum standards and foster student engagement.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and participation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in South Carolina.
• Proven experience teaching high school biology, preferably in a virtual or blended learning environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage students in an online setting.
• Technologically proficient with experience using virtual learning platforms and tools.
