Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced High School History Teacher to join our remote teaching team in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for history education and be proficient in engaging high school students in an online learning environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver dynamic history lessons aligned with state curriculum standards and tailored to virtual learning platforms.
• Utilize innovative teaching strategies to foster student engagement and critical thinking skills.
• Assess student learning through assignments, projects, and exams, providing timely feedback to support academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance curriculum development and instructional techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in South Carolina.
• Proven experience teaching high school history, preferably in a virtual or blended learning environment.
• Strong technology skills and proficiency in using online learning management systems (LMS) and educational tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively engage students remotely.
