About the position

Frog Tutoring is an Ed-Tech Education Company based in Los Angeles, dedicated to providing supplemental education through one-on-one tutoring sessions. We are currently seeking Homework Coaches (SPED) to join our team. As a tutor, you will be responsible for delivering personalized educational support to students, particularly those with moderate autism. This role requires a friendly, articulate, and reliable individual who can adapt to each student’s unique learning needs and make the educational process enjoyable. Our tutoring philosophy is built on three core principles: One Step Ahead, Reinforcement, and Organization & Study Skills. This ensures that our tutors not only help students with their immediate homework needs but also equip them with the skills necessary for long-term academic success. Working with Frog Tutoring offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to choose your own hours and manage your tutoring load. As an independent contractor, you have the freedom to employ your own teaching styles and methods, tailoring your approach to best suit each student. We strive to match tutors with students effectively, resulting in productive and rewarding learning experiences. Responsibilities
• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for students, focusing on Homework Coach and SPED subjects.

• Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, particularly those with moderate autism.

• Organize and reinforce study skills and organizational techniques to help students succeed academically.

Requirements
• Experience working with students with moderate autism.

• Strong organizational skills to manage tutoring sessions and student progress.

• Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual student needs.

• Friendly and articulate communication skills.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in tutoring or teaching in a similar role.
