Key Responsibilities
Teaching Excellence: Deliver engaging and high-quality instruction in various computer science courses, including data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
Student Engagement: Motivate and support students to achieve their academic goals, utilizing campus resources and promoting STEM success.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and evaluation of curriculum and instructional materials.
Community Involvement: Participate in professional activities and contribute to the campus community, including involvement in committees and extracurricular activities.
Diverse Learning Environment: Uphold a commitment to equity and inclusion, respecting the diverse backgrounds of students, faculty, and staff.
Teaching Assignments
Instruction may occur during day, evening, and online formats.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or a related combination of qualifications.
Strong understanding and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds of community college students.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in data science and machine learning.
Working Conditions
Environment: Primarily indoor office environment.
Physical Abilities: Ability to perform tasks such as hearing, speaking, and vision for reading materials. Regular standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting of objects up to 20 lbs.

Compensation And Benefits
Salary Range: $71,934.90 – $133,543.60 annually, based on education and experience.

Additional Information
Terms of Employment: Full-time, tenure-track, 10 months per year.
Start Date: Fall 2024.
