We are accepting applications for potential openings in Modern Languages for the academic year 2024-2025. Applications to this pool will be utilized to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible Instructor positions for online courses as student demand dictates at the Athens campus. The number of online French courses in Modern Languages offered each semester is largely dependent on student demand. Therefore, the need to hire part-time instructors often comes with very short notice. Such part-time positions will be filled with qualified applicants from this pool. Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis through 5/15/2025.

Job Description

Instructors will teach asynchronous online French language courses, generally at the elementary or intermediate level.

Minimum Qualifications
• MA in French
• Experience or training in teaching asynchronous or synchronous online language classes
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students
Preferred Qualifications
• Teaching experience at college level
• Asynchronous online teaching experience
