We are seeking an experienced Math Tutor or Teacher to join our team and work remotely as a 1:1 tutor. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives by helping them excel in various math subjects.
About The Role…
You will be responsible for providing personalized tutoring to students in Algebra I, II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. Your goal is to understand each student’s unique learning style and create customized lesson plans that support their academic goals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, has excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to helping students succeed.
Compensation: $50-$55/hr
Classification: Contract (1099)
Tutoring Type: Remote, 60-90 minute sessions
Responsibilities
Provide remote math tutoring to high school students (grades 9-12).
Design and implement customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
Administer practice exercises and assess student progress.
Collaborate with students’ families to keep them informed about progress.
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, scores, and student progress.
Provide regular updates to administrators and parents.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in tutoring, teaching, or test preparation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to develop personalized lesson plans for students
Flexible schedule, with availability for evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to work independently and remotely
Self-motivated, organized, and committed to student success
