VocoVision is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher (K-12) for a remote position. This role involves planning, organizing, and implementing individualized education programs that help students achieve their full academic potential in a virtual setting. The teacher will be responsible for evaluating student progress and adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
Key Duties:
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing recommendations for needed changes or accommodations.
• Establish regular communication with parents/caregivers to discuss student progress.
• Contribute to IEP meetings and help in setting achievable goals for students.
Required Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate required.
• 2 years of experience working in a school setting.
• Must possess all clearances to work in public or charter schools.
• Early childhood experience is a plus.
• 37.5 hours per week.
• 2024/2025 school year contract.
