Our partner school in Prescott, Arizona area looking for a kind and dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the 2024 – 2025 school year. We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable candidate interested in a full-time position, about 40 hours per week. As an onsite Special Education teacher, you will play a meaningful and important role in our students’ lives!
Position Details…
• 08/22/2024 – 05/23/2025
• Full-time: 40 hours a week
• Onsite only
• Caseload openings at the elementary, middle and high school level; priority will be given based on preference and licensure. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $25 – $40 per hour, depending on previous experience
Requirements:
• Must have a valid Arizona Special Education License
• Must have a valid Arizona Teaching License
• Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education, or related field
• Must have a valid AZ Fingerprint Card
• Must have ADE Certification
General Responsibilities:
• Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans to accommodate varying learning styles.
• Monitor and track student progress; communicate progress to parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.
• Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes student engagement, motivation, and self-confidence.
