Position Overview

We are currently searching for a Nursing Faculty member (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor, depending on experience) to join our team at the Indianapolis learning site. This position primarily involves teaching within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, with opportunities to contribute to other prelicensure nursing programs based on your educational background.

Key Responsibilities

Uphold professional standards in both classroom and clinical teaching environments.

Develop and submit course syllabi, manage classroom activities, integrate technology, and maintain accurate records, all in line with institutional guidelines.

Collaborate with fellow faculty members on various projects, committees, and recruitment initiatives.

Design and implement effective teaching and evaluation strategies to engage nursing students.

Support student success through mentoring, tutoring, and academic advising.

Stay current with educational trends and nursing practices through ongoing professional development.

Contribute to the evaluation processes within the School of Nursing to ensure the achievement of educational outcomes.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing is preferred.

At least two years (or the equivalent) of full-time clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.

Preferred qualifications include formal education in adult learning principles, including curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.

An unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Indiana or an eNLC compact state is required.
