We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and programming languages, including Java, C++, and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Node.js. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans that inspire students to learn and develop their skills in technology and programming. The Teacher will utilize various educational tools, including Blackboard, to facilitate learning and track student progress.
Duties
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Educate students on web development concepts, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side programming.
• Utilize tools such as React Express for hands-on projects to enhance student understanding.
• Assess student performance through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in technology education to continuously improve teaching methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects that integrate technology across the curriculum.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and web development technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Experience with educational platforms like Blackboard is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to create detailed lesson plans.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
• Previous teaching experience or relevant internships in educational settings is a plus.
