We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing student engagement. This role requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and subject matter expertise to effectively deliver instructional content and support students in their academic journey.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations.
• Provide individualized support to students through tutoring sessions and instructional design tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning, utilizing effective classroom management techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance library services and integrate resources into lesson plans.
• Utilize the Chicago Manual Style for writing assignments and ensure adherence to academic standards in student submissions.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in teaching.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Math and experience in copy editing are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with linguistics and its application in language instruction is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage students of varying backgrounds.
• Experience in instructional design or library services is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.58 – $22.78 per hour
