We understand the value of a great educator. That’s why we keep class sizes small and fully interactive (1-5 students). This low student to teacher ratio minimizes discipline issues and maximizes student growth, creating a rewarding and low-stress work environment… for our teachers! All you need is a reliable high-speed internet connection, a good microphone, and a webcam. We will provide the curriculum and training for the online platforms that you will use.
The ideal candidate for this position knows how to engage students in grade K-5, in the areas of phonics, reading, and writing. We are looking for teachers who are available to work at least two hours per day and three days per week. Teachers have the freedom to customize their own schedules with the help of our class coordinator.
Job Requirements:
• Enjoyment of teaching and a fun teaching style;;
• Autonomous and independent, enjoys working with little direction;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
• Prior teaching experience required (minimum 8 years in a classroom setting, 1:1 tutoring is not counted). Having teaching credentials is a plus but not required;
• Prior online contracting experience preferred;
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer;
