We’ve expanded from tutoring primarily math to include ELA, sciences, languages, test prep, computer science, and business math. We’re excited to find new team members to help us continue this growth.
Position Overview
We’re looking for qualified and passionate Geometry tutors to join our team. In addition to Geometry, you’ll need to tutor a range of math topics from 6th grade through college level to make the most of your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate professionally and promptly with students, clients, and our team
Assess students’ understanding and tailor lesson plans to their individual needs
Deliver engaging and clear instruction to enhance learning
Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders
Manage your schedule efficiently to meet student needs
Create a positive and productive learning environment
Requirements
A passion for education and a desire to help students succeed
Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles
Professional communication skills with both clients and our team
Proficiency with online tutoring tools and technology
Ability to engage and connect with students in a meaningful way
Patience and empathy towards students’ challenges
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
At least 3 years of professional tutoring experience, including 1 year online
Reliable internet connection and access to a computer/laptop, stylus pen, and headphones
A professional, quiet environment for tutoring sessions
U.S.-based bank account and a valid SSN
Expertise in the subjects you will be teaching
Excellent communication and time management skills
Availability for at least 10 hours per week, with 70% of that time during peak hours (Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 11pm Eastern)
