Our students, ages 12 to 18, are taking Japanese to fulfill their World Language requirement. We offer courses from Middle… School to High School Levels 1-6+, including conversational and test/prep options. Our curriculum is aligned with standards, focusing on real-world communication without relying on traditional textbooks. Instead, our lessons are guided by Can-Do Statements and practical contexts. While we provide a Resource Library, instructors are encouraged to create and utilize their own teaching materials. Our approach emphasizes Project-Based Learning and avoids traditional quizzes and tests.

Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one online lessons using Microsoft Teams.
Assign and evaluate homework assignments and projects.
Monitor and report on students’ grades and progress.
Foster student engagement and success.
Show genuine respect and support for all students.
Requirements
1-2+ years of experience teaching Japanese (online or in a school setting).
Native-like proficiency in Japanese.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Proficiency with technology and Microsoft Office.
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
Availability during US time zones (PST), with evening hours preferred.
