Who Are We?
We are a leading accredited online language school looking for passionate Japanese Language Instructors to teach high school and middle school Japanese courses online. Our students, aged 12 to 18, typically enroll to meet their high school World Language requirements. We offer Japanese courses from Middle School and High School Levels 1-6+, including conversational and test/prep… courses.
Our curriculum aligns with ACTFL standards, and we focus on real-world communication rather than traditional textbooks. Our lessons are guided by ACTFL Can-Do Statements and practical communication contexts. While we provide a Resource Library for support, instructors are encouraged to create and use their own teaching materials. Our approach is Project-Based Learning, and we assess students through projects rather than quizzes, tests, or exams.

Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one online lessons via Microsoft Teams.
Assign and review homework assignments and projects.
Track student progress and grades.
Foster student engagement and success.
Show genuine respect and support for all students.
Requirements
1-2+ years of experience teaching Japanese (online and/or in a school setting).
Native-like language proficiency.
A Bachelor’s Degree.
Proficiency with technology and Microsoft Office.
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
Availability during US time zones (PST) with evening availability preferred.
Job Type: Contract
