Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Provide individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of each student, including those requiring special education support.
• Mentor students in their academic and personal growth, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Utilize various teaching strategies, including higher education teaching techniques, to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance, providing feedback to students and parents as necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues in library services to integrate resources into lesson plans effectively.
• Stay current with educational best practices, including the Chicago Manual Style for writing instruction.
Experience
• Proven experience in lesson planning and delivering effective literacy education is essential.
• Background in mentoring or higher education teaching is preferred.
• Experience in private school settings or special education is a plus.
• Familiarity with library services and resources that can enhance classroom learning is beneficial.
• Strong writing skills are necessary for developing instructional materials and communicating with stakeholders.
