Role Overview
As a tutor, you will have the flexibility to select the math topics you’d like to teach, ranging from elementary through college. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Maintaining professional and timely communication with students and clients
Assessing students’ current understanding of the subject matter
Creating and implementing customized lesson plans to meet individual student needs
Delivering clear and engaging instruction
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure student success
Effectively managing your schedule to accommodate student needs
Creating a positive and productive learning environment
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:

Proficiency with online tutoring tools and technology

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
At least 3 years of professional tutoring experience
At least 1 year of online tutoring experience
Reliable internet connection and access to a computer/laptop, stylus pen, and headphones
A professional, quiet environment suitable for tutoring sessions
U.S.-based bank account and a valid SSN
Strong expertise in the subjects you will be teaching
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective time management skills
Availability of at least 10 hours per week, with 70% of availability during peak demand hours (Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 11pm Eastern)
