Responsibilities: – Plan and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students – Create a positive and inclusive learning environment – Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a safe and productive classroom – Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and administrators – Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum – Utilize educational technology to enhance instruction – Provide early intervention support for students who may be struggling academically or behaviorally – Foster a love of reading by incorporating library services into the curriculum Requirements: – Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field – Valid teaching certification/license – Experience working with elementary, middle or high school-aged children – Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and instructional methods – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to write clear and concise lesson plans and reports – Experience with behavior management techniques – Experience tutoring or providing additional support to students with special needs, such as autism This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated educator to make a positive impact on the lives of elementary school students.
