Are you passionate about teaching Spanish and eager to make a difference in students’ lives? We are seeking enthusiastic Spanish Language Instructors to join our team and teach online Spanish courses for high school and middle school students. Our students range from 12 to 18 years old, primarily studying Spanish to meet their high school World Language requirements.
About the Role…
As an Online Spanish Language Instructor, you will teach Middle School and High School Spanish Levels 1-6+, as well as conversational and test/prep courses. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging and effective, based on ACTFL Can-Do Statements and real-world communication contexts, rather than traditional textbooks. Our approach emphasizes Project-Based Learning and avoids traditional quizzes, tests, or exams.
You will have access to a Resource Library to support your teaching, but creativity in creating and utilizing your own materials is encouraged. If you have a knack for online teaching, enjoy working in a student-centered environment, and are dedicated to fostering a love for the Spanish language, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one online lessons using Microsoft Teams.
Assign and evaluate homework assignments and projects.
Monitor and record students’ grades and progress.
Focus on engaging students and supporting their success.
Show genuine respect and understanding for all students.
Qualifications:
1-2+ years of experience teaching Spanish, either online or in a classroom setting.
Native-like proficiency in Spanish.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Familiarity with technology and Microsoft Office.
Strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills.
Availability during US time zones (PST) with preference for evening hours.
