Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a resource and co-teach model
• Collaborate with general education teachers to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and academic and behavioral concerns
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and learning
Requirements:
• Valid special education certification
• Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field
• Experience working with K-12 students
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and work independently
