A company is seeking passionate, equity-minded educators to work as Online Tutors for K-8 students, focusing on closing the early-learning gap through live, synchronous online sessions.
Key Responsibilities…
• Conduct virtual tutoring sessions using a specific platform with no lesson planning required
• Manage student behavior and engagement, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
• Maintain positive relationships with students and document observations for each session
Required Qualifications and Education
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• Knowledge of and experience in literacy best practices aligned to the science of reading
• Completed or enrolled in a teacher credential program
• Experience teaching/tutoring K-8 students in various capacities
• Access to a computer, webcam, and reliable, high-speed internet connection with a speed of at least 10mbps
