SEEKING ADOLESCENT HISTORY TEACHER FOR AN INNOVATIVE ONLINE MONTESSORI SCHOOL

We are seeking a Montessori-certified Teacher, with a preference for secondary level experience, to join our online Montessori school. This position is part-time and can be either a long-term substitute or permanent hire opportunity. The primary need at this time is for History instruction at the secondary level (middle and high school). Please note, instruction will be performed remotely from your home or office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Prepare and deliver engaging History lessons according to Montessori principles
– Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students
– Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student work
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
REQUIREMENTS
– Montessori certification (This is not the same as a state teaching license)
– Strong understanding of Montessori education principles
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively
– Excellent communication and organizational skills- Reliable Internet connection & computer capable of supporting the necessary online teaching tools
