Position Description:
Must have 3-5 years experience working in a professional bicycle service department as a technician.
Excellent technical services skills including basic tune-ups, brake and shifting systems.
Ability to perform maintenance on various bikes: mountain/road, high end and general.
Knowledge of all bike tools.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in training and teaching others
Passion for cycling / bicycles and active in the bicycling community.
Available to teach at least two evenings a week as scheduled throughout the spring, summer, and fall terms.
Essential Job Functions for all ACD Instructors:
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Techs ACD program.
Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.
Perform all duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees
