What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Participate in technology-related faculty engagement sessions and trainings
– Organize and maintain project files and assist in workshop administration
– Learn and apply accessibility guidelines to ensure online content is accessible
– Consult on and support the design of multimedia programs and projects
– Provide event support for the annual Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Must be a current Penn State student
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
– Strong communication skills and a passion for learning
– Familiarity with teaching and learning tools such as Canvas, Office 365, Google Suite, Kaltura, and Zoom
– Willingness to learn about and apply basic learning design principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Experience with asynchronous learning
– Prior teaching or tutoring experience
– Knowledge of other Penn State services, such as University Libraries and Media Commons
