The chosen candidate will be… responsible for providing virtual education to high school students in Pennsylvania school districts.
Job Description:
• 2024-2025 academic school year
• 100% Remote
• Biology Curriculum
• Full time 37.5 hours/ week
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality science instruction to high school students using VocoVision’s virtual platform
• Develop and implement interactive and effective lesson plans aligned with state and national standards
• Utilize a variety of digital tools and resources to enhance virtual learning experiences
• Foster a positive and inclusive online classroom environment that encourages student engagement and inquiry
• Assess and evaluate student performance through virtual assessments, assignments, and projects
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Pennsylvania teaching certification in Secondary Science
• All Pennsylvania state clearances to work in schools (Not accepting pending candidates)
• Proven experience teaching science at the high school level, with a strong understanding of curriculum and assessment
• Virtual experience is a huge plus!
VocoVision Requirements
Must provide your own general and professional liability insurance among acceptance of offer. Must be comfortable being an independent contractor otherwise known as a 1099 worker. Home computer with high internet speed would be necessary along with a passed basic tech screening
