Founded in 2021, Maestro Music Lessons offers virtual music lessons for students at charter schools across the state of California. We contract with 10+ schools (and counting), with the mission of providing music lessons for students who may not otherwise be able to access or afford one-on-one instruction. Each Maestro teacher brings their own unique approach to teaching into their lessons, and… works with a variety of students, from children just being introduced to music, to serious highschool students seeking coaching while preparing for auditions.

We are looking for a catch all type of teacher that can instruct at least 3 of the listed instruments below.

Hiring will happen August 1st-August 4th
Responsibilities:
• Communicate proactively with the company and students, sticking to a schedule once it’s established and making every reasonable effort to maintain a consistent schedule
• Teach in a patient, approachable manner, and adapt as necessary to meet each students unique needs and learning style
• Represent Maestro as a professional musician and instructor
• Utilize My Music Stuff (software) to upload lesson reports and comments to track student improvement
• Answer emails in a timely fashion (within 24 hours)
Qualifications:
• Resident of California, or willing to travel occasionally to the state
• Must take and pass a LiveScan Background Check (cost covered by the company)
• Background in music (music degrees preferred)
• 2+ years of teaching experience
• Organization, trustworthiness, and reliability are a must!
