Requirements:
• Develop and implement curriculum
• Support creativity and learning
• Provide supervision during activities
• Select age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroom
• Keep classroom neat and organized
• Provide parents with progress reports
• File incident reports as needed
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 credit hours of Early Childhood Education
• CDA credential a plus
• At least one full years of teaching or child care experience
• First aid and CPR certification

Responsibilities Include:
– Teachers will track student progress and present the information to parents, create and reinforce classroom rules, manage children inside and outside the classroom, such as on field trips, walks or outside play.
– Prepare classroom for class activities and provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities. Build positive relationships with children and parents.
– Inspiring children to want to learn more about themselves and the world around them, and delighting in their individual accomplishments.
– Developing meaningful relationships with families through personal discussions and communicating throughout the day via our online app.
– Creating a learning environment that is fun, stimulating and engaging.
– Working collaboratively alongside fellow teachers and administrative staff.

Responsibilities:
• Assure that State licensing requirements are met at all times per DCFS and IDHS
• Maintaining ratios throughout classrooms
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members
• Schedule staff and parent meetings
• Maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment
• Managing personnel files, enrollment tracking and marketing of center
• Enforce and review personnel policies
• Perform parent tours and inform them of the centers policies
• Review staff timesheets, Process Payroll
• Other administrative duties as assigned
• **Familiarity with ProCare software a plus
• **Experience with MS office software a plus
• **Bilingual is a plus
Qualifications:
• Associates, paraprofessional or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education
• 60 College credit hours
• 21 ECE credit hours
• Time management and Organization is a must
