Public Leadership Adjunct Instructor

**Overview:** The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Public Leadership Graduate Adjunct Instructor for the academic year 2024-2025. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and to assist in further development of the Public Leadership Graduate Program. **Responsibilities:**
• Plan, implement, and evaluate… teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes
• Provide quality instruction in graduate Public Leadership courses matching the instructor’s background, education, and skills base
• Teach a full range of graduate level Public Leadership courses, including Data Analytics and Research Methods, Public Health Administration, Public Service & Society, Performance Measurement & Monitoring, Intergovernmental Relations, Public Health Leadership, and Public Private Partnerships
• Use certain texts and meet certain parameters set by the Public Leadership program
• Include student assessment measures determined by the department and compile data on those assessment criteria
• *Qualifications:**
• PhD in Public Administration or Public Affairs with outstanding teaching experience in teaching graduate level courses (Doctoral candidates will not be considered)
• Successful experience teaching adults in a post-secondary institution (preferred)
• Successful career in public service (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings (preferred)
