Responsibilities
The Florida State University College of Medicine, Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine (BSSM) seeks candidates for a Full-Time, Tenure-Track Faculty position, at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor Rank.
The successful candidate will be expected to continue an independent line of research as indicated by a strong record of publications and current extramural funding commensurate with their rank and will also collaborate with other clinical researchers for extramural funding.
We are seeking to expand our research programs focused on behavioral interventions to improve health. The incumbent will also be expected to engage in medical education.
Qualifications
• PhD in epidemiology, statistics or related quantitative science accredited institution with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.
• The candidate should have expertise in innovative designs for translational behavioral science.
• Our department seeks candidates whose work aligns with the college of medicine mission, which emphasizes patient-centered care for the undeserved and community-engaged research.
