Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team for a fully remote position serving a school district in New Mexico. The successful candidate will work with students with diverse learning needs, providing individualized instruction and support in a virtual classroom setting. Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual instruction to students with special needs in accordance with their IEPs.
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists to ensure student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Valid New Mexico teaching credential in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a virtual or in-person setting.
• Strong communication and technology skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
