• *Position Overview**
• **Caseload**: 5 – 10 students
• **Grade Levels**: Pre K – 1st Grade
• **Paraprofessional Support**: Provided
• **Contract Dates**: August 23, 2024 – June 13, 2025
• *Qualifications**
• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Certification in Special Education for Maryland or eligibility to obtain it
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with school teams and families
• *Key Responsibilities**
• Deliver personalized virtual instruction and support according to each student’s IEP goals
• Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and continuous progress monitoring
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and caregivers to ensure student success and well-being
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
• *Requirements**
• Must hold personal liability and general insurance
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor
• Access to a home computer with high-speed internet and proficiency in virtual teaching platforms
• Successful completion of a basic tech screening
