We offer a range of resources for students to increase their SAT score, including twice daily SAT small group live calls, 5 SAT courses and programs, 24/7 access to message tutors, and a community of other students also taking the SAT.
Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a SAT English Tutor. As a SAT English Tutor, your main responsibility will be to provide 5-15 student small-group tutoring sessions to students preparing for the SAT English section. You will help students understand and apply English concepts, solve practice problems, and develop test-taking strategies. You will be provided with training on how to work with a group this size and how to approach tutoring in a way that is scalable across many students.
Things to know
• You will take calls every day, including weekends but not holidays, at 5PM EST online.
• You will be expected to actively engage… with any direct messages that students send you asking for help on an SAT English question (should be 1-2/day)
• Pay starts at $18/hr, but will increase $1/hr for every 5 students that join your session on average/day. Time spent answering student’s questions will not count toward pay, but is still expected
Qualifications
• 780+ on DSAT English Section
• Experience in tutoring or teaching English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient and supportive approach towards students
• Ability to tailor tutoring sessions to the individual needs of each student
• Passion for education and helping students reach their academic goals
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
