In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our students’ educational journey and creating a supportive, engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities…
Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and address the diverse needs of our students.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources to inspire students and enhance their critical thinking skills.
Assess student progress through both formal and informal methods, providing constructive feedback to students and their families.
Collaborate with fellow educators, including special education teachers and support staff, to support the individualized needs of all learners.
Maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians, sharing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Math-related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification/license in Illinois.
Prior experience teaching in a general education setting is a plus.
Strong understanding of curriculum standards and effective instructional practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
