Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Angola, Indiana. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders in accordance with Indiana state regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ specific needs.
Provide therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication skills in academic and social settings.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Indiana state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) licensure for school-based Speech-Language Pathologists.
Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
